Senior Bollywood actor Naseeruddin Shah has claimed that Sindhi language is no longer spoken in Pakistan.
Naseeruddin Shah claimed during a promotional event for his series ‘Taj’ that ‘Baluchi, Bari, Saraiki and Pashto languages are spoken in Pakistan but Sindhi is definitely not spoken in Pakistan anymore’.
Many Pakistani social media users, including actress Mansha Pasha, did not like this statement made by the Indian actor against the facts, as the fact is that Sindhi is one of the most widely spoken languages in Pakistan.
Expressing his reaction to Naseeruddin Shah’s statement, he wrote, “As a proud Sindhi who also speaks Sindhi at home, I disagree with this opinion.”
