First make people rich, then tax, Asif Zardari

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari says that the big businessmen of Punjab should come together, I guarantee investment.

Addressing the function of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (OFPCCI), Asif Zardari said that first make the people rich, then tax, People’s Party has always taken care of the business community.

Asif Zardari said that the improvement of the economy is necessary for our future generations, Pakistan still has the potential to go ahead, there is a need to promote public-private partnership in the country.

The former president said that Gwadar has been there for 70 years, no one was seeing it, the economy has to be built for generations, not for five or ten years.

Co-Chairman People’s Party said that there is a need to talk about the economy, the improvement of the economy is necessary for our future generations.

Asif Zardari also said that problems are solved by increasing exports, if foreign investors invest money, they also take money away.

The former president added that China’s economic plan is for 50 years, we also have to plan for the future, economic planning is not for a few days but for years, we have to get rid of the economic method of the neo-demographic system.

Asif Zardari said that what businessmen can do should not be done by the government, businessmen should be taxed after earning money, we have to think at collective level instead of individual, it is not important how long you live, it is important. How much work has been done?

He said that problems can be solved only by increasing exports, Pakistan has been hosting 4 million Afghan brothers for 4 decades, there is a need to get out of the mindset and work for the economy.
