Mayo Hospital Lahore ran out of test kits, patients were forced to get tested from private laboratories.
The laboratory of King Edward and Mayo Hospital had informed the hospital administration after not receiving the kits for 1 month.
It was said in the post that the kits for urine, bladder, cholesterol, total protein and other tests are over, without which the tests are not possible, the administration should buy and provide new kits.
According to the hospital administration, 2578 patients are currently admitted in all the wards of Mayo Hospital, while 2500 patients are admitted to the emergency department every day.
