Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's big decision to increase IT exports


Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has taken a big decision to increase the country’s IT exports, and has directed the preparation of a big package for IT in the next financial year’s budget.

A meeting was held on the IT and Telecom budget proposals under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister gave in-principle approval for giving special incentives to those starting new businesses in the IT sector.

It has been decided to give special concessions for promotion of business and trade through modern technology and IT.

Initiatives based on encouraging youth to start business in the IT sector were also decided.

In the meeting, the program to make the youth skilled in IT and modern technology was also approved.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also approved the decision to create special training IT zones.

The Prime Minister said that the government will spend a lot of money on the professional training of the youth in the IT sector, currently 45 thousand youth are being given IT skill training in the country.

According to the announcement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister has taken a big decision to bring a fixed tax regime, for which he has formed a committee.

He has directed to submit immediate recommendations for fixed tax regime.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the government will provide laptops to 100,000 youths on merit in the upcoming budget.

He said that during the Corona epidemic, the youth brought foreign exchange to the country with laptops, tax incentives will be ensured to the IT companies.

The Prime Minister directed to include recommendations related to IT in the budget of the next financial year.

He directed to organize road shows of the IT sector abroad.

The Prime Minister gave the IT sector a target to increase its exports to 4.5 billion dollars next year.
