Former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi will be produced in the Judicial Magistrate’s Court today in the case of alleged fake recruitment in the Punjab Assembly.
Lahore Bar President Rana Intizar will appear in the court on behalf of Parvez Elahi.
According to the anti-corruption authorities, Pervez Elahi made 12 illegal recruitments of grade 17 in the Punjab Assembly, failed candidates were recruited by changing the records.
Anti-corruption officials related to the case say that fake testing services were used to scam the recruitment process.
He said that in the anti-corruption inquiry, fake recruitments in the Punjab Assembly were proved.
Anti-corruption officials also say that there is clear evidence of corruption in recruitment.
It should be noted that anti-corruption has arrested the former Punjab Chief Minister Pervez Elahi for the third time in the fake recruitment case.
It should be remembered that yesterday, the court of Gujranwala ordered the acquittal of Parvez Elahi in both cases on the charge of corruption of more than 2 billion rupees, after which he was arrested in another case as soon as he was acquitted.
