After being sworn in for the third consecutive term as Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the hearts of the people with his first address.
Addressing a ceremony at the Presidential Palace in the capital Ankara, Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked his people for electing him as president for the third consecutive term. He also thanked the heads of various countries invited to the ceremony including the Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif.
In his speech, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that I welcome the distinguished guests from different countries, I am grateful to the people of Turkey for choosing me once again.

He said that democracy is strong in Turkey today, we need unity and solidarity more than ever, we have to unite to solve global problems and Turkey will continue to play its role in solving global problems.
He said that we want good relations with all countries.
‘I hope that my nation will encourage me in this great mission to which I have dedicated my life. I will never disappoint my beloved nation who trusts in me, my party and allies.’
In his speech, the Turkish president also promised to introduce a new civilian and liberal constitution.
