Lahore: Out of 4120 miscreants who attacked military property in Punjab, 2290 have been identified out of which 1180 miscreants have been arrested.
According to the Punjab government, 1125 miscreants have been identified and 513 have been arrested out of 18 hundred miscreants who attacked and set fire to Jinnah House.
Similarly, 121 of the 1,000 miscreants who attacked Askari Tower have been identified and 81 of them have been arrested so far.
The data shows that 29 percent of the miscreants identified from across Punjab have been arrested so far.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the violent incidents of May 9 including the Jinnah House attack is going on, the joint investigation teams have also started recording the statements of the injured officials.
According to JIT sources, the statements of 22 officials have been recorded so far, the statements of SHOs, ASIs, constables who were injured on May 9 are being recorded.
The identification of the persons arrested in the incidents of May 9 is also being made from the police officials, in the next stage official and non-official eyewitnesses will be called for statements.
According to JIT sources, tracking has also been started for the recovery of mobile phones seized by police officers in violent acts and a final report will be prepared after the completion of investigation.
