SSP Investigation Lahore Dr. Anush Masood has rejected the allegations of abuse and said that false news of ill-treatment of women is being spread.
While speaking in Geo News program Geo Pakistan, Dr. Anush Masood said that all the staff in women police station are per mile.
He said that men are not allowed to go to Kot Lakhpat Jail where women are kept.
Dr. Anush Masood says that the people involved in the incidents on May 9 have been identified and arrested.
It should be noted that Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has formed a 2-member committee to investigate allegations of violence against women in jail.
