It has been decided to present the budget for the financial year 2023-24 in the federal cabinet on June 9.
A federal cabinet meeting was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in which the country’s political and economic situation was discussed.
Meanwhile, the Federal Cabinet approved the decisions of the ECC meeting held on May 16.
It was decided in the cabinet meeting that the budget for the financial year 2023-24 will be presented on June 9.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the common man should be given relief in the budget.
During the meeting, he also asked for budget proposals to provide relief to the common man.
In the cabinet meeting, the Ministry of Interior gave a detailed briefing on the Road to Makkah project, on which Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif called the Road to Makkah project an important milestone for the pilgrims.
In the meeting, a briefing was given on the actions against the violent incidents of May 9.
