The PSX benchmark 100 index closed at 41,990 points in late trade after the decline.
During the business day, the Hundred Index remained in the band of 196 points.
9 crore shares were traded in the stock market today, the value of which was fixed at 2 billion 39 crore rupees.
Similarly, the market capitalization is reduced by 7 billion rupees to 6 thousand 200 billion rupees.
