A young girl died when the roof of a house collapsed during a wedding ceremony in Rohri while 11 people including women and children were injured.
According to Assistant Commissioner Rohri Waseem Mehr, a marriage ceremony was going on in a house in Tucker Mohalla area of Rohri when the weak roof of the house collapsed due to the weight of the extra people.
12 injured including women and children were removed from the wreckage by rescue operation and transferred to Taluk Hospital Rohri where a young girl succumbed to her injuries.
After completing the rescue operation, the house has been sealed and the debris will be removed in daylight.
