The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned the former member of the National Assembly Monis Elahi on May 22.
According to FIA, Mons Elahi has been summoned to investigate the money laundering case.
Officials said that they summoned Monis Elahi in a personal capacity on the reports of the Financial Monitoring Unit.
According to FIA officials, transactions worth crores of rupees took place in Mons Elahi’s accounts during 2021 to 2022.
Officials also said that unilateral action can be taken in case of non-appearance.
