Peshawar: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the SHO was arrested and booked for saving the PTI leader from arrest.
According to the text of the case, SHO Gulbarg Fawad Ali was found to be involved in communication with former Tehreek-e-Insaf MPA Malik Wajid.
Malik Wajid was instrumental in inciting the workers to loot and arson, the SHO kept asking the instigating ex-MPA workers to turn off their phones to save them from arrest.
According to the case, SHO Fawad Ali was also found involved in giving other information to former MPA Malik Wajid.
On the other hand, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has started investigation of two more officers for non-arrest of Tehreek-e-Insaf MPs and former ministers.
According to a senior police officer, the two officers made calls from other mobile numbers instead of the phone numbers they were using, and the Special Branch has ordered an investigation into the supporting officers.
