Karachi: In the mysterious incident of firing in defense, there was a drop scene of the murder of a woman, the victim was shot dead by her real brother in the name of honor, the police arrested the accused and recovered the pistol from his possession.
According to the details, in the middle of Saturday and Sunday night, the murder of 25-year-old woman Safia Dokhtar Ghazi took place in a mysterious shooting incident in the house near Defense Phase 6 Khayaban Halal Arabi Mahal in Derakhshan area.
In this regard, SP Clifton Ahmad Chaudhry told the Express that after the shooting incident, Hakeem Khan, the brother of the victim, had told the police that he was cleaning his pistol at home and that it accidentally fired and hit Safia directly. He died instantly.
He said that the police had doubts about the statement of the deceased’s brother, on which the police took Hakeem Khan into custody and interrogated him, then the real facts came out.
SP Clifton said that the victim was killed by firing in the name of honor by her real brother Hakeem Khan, the accused also confessed to the crime.
The police formally arrested the accused Hakim Khan son of Ghazi Khan and a licensed pistol was also recovered from his possession. The arrested accused works as a transporter.
