Terrorist attack on foreigners in Karachi foiled by police.
According to the police officials, the terrorists attacked the foreigners who were present at the Sukhan Lagigoth Jetty in Karachi. In the exchange of fire between police and terrorists, one terrorist was killed while the other managed to escape from the spot.
Police officer Akram Ali was injured while fighting the terrorists and was immediately shifted to the hospital. An SMG, 11 loaded magazines, gram, dates, p-cap resembling forces, first aid kit, bag and other items were recovered from the possession of the slain terrorist.
According to the police officials, the terrorists reached the jetty through the sewage drain passing along the outer wall adjacent to the jetty, but the police officer posted at the police check post established by the outer wall and the seashore killed one terrorist in the exchange of fire while his companion escaped.
