After the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, a series of protests have started in different cities of the country.
Karachi
A protest has been announced at Insaf House on Shahrah Faisal area of Karachi.
Bahawalpur
In Bahawalpur, the lawyers of Insaf Lawyers Forum were directed to reach the district courts immediately, while in Chilas, PTI workers’ protest at Siddique Akbar Chowk was closed for traffic.
Faisalabad
After the arrest of Imran Khan in Faisalabad, PTI workers and traders clashed at Ghanta Ghar Chowk, the workers closed Ghanta Ghar Chowk and nearby markets.
Gojra
In Gojra, Tehreek-e-Insaf workers protested at Chowk Malkanwala, while in Mardan, PTI workers blocked the road at College Chowk.
Peshawar
Against the arrest of Imran Khan, PTI workers protested at Hashtnagri Chowk in Peshawar and Khalfa Rashidin Chowk in Astor, while GT Road was blocked in Muridke.
Police fired tear gas to prevent the protesters from entering the Red Zone.
In Chichawatani, PTI workers blocked the Chichawatani bypass during the protest.
