The first death due to Congo virus has been reported in Karachi this year.
According to the provincial health department, 28-year-old Muhammad Adil was confirmed to have Congo virus.
According to the health department, Muhammad Adil developed fever on April 30 and was brought to a private hospital on May 4. The patient’s samples were sent to the Aga Khan Laboratory for confirmation.
According to the health department, the patient tested positive for Congo virus and died on May 5.
