Maha Akshay Chakraborty, son of Bollywood senior actor Mithun Chakraborty and actress Yogeeta Bali, while talking about nepotism in the Mumbai film industry, said that it is not like that at all. If there was nepotism in Bollywood, I would not have come forward, I am living proof of it.
In a recent interview, 39-year-old Maha Akshay Chakraborty added that father had told me when I entered the industry that he would not help me in this regard.
Maha Akshay revealed that there was a time when I was rejected in the audition.
He said he went to every audition for television, movies and web shows. However, one help that those from film families can get is to meet the director or producer.
“When I went for the audition, I would introduce myself, that was an advantage I got,” he said. But getting a job or a film was completely my luck.
