Rawalpindi: Taking action, Taxila police arrested the main accused of the gang who stole money from the citizens by pretending to be law enforcement officials.
According to Express News, four lakh rupees stolen from the citizen was also recovered from the accused. Two months ago, the accused along with her accomplices had stolen money from a citizen by pretending to be police officers.
According to the police, the accused stopped the citizen’s car on the pretext of checking by pretending to be a lady sub-inspector. Other members of the gang will also be arrested soon.
On the arrest of the accused, SP Pothohar Muhammad Waqas Khan has congratulated the Taxila police and said that the arrested accused will be challaned with concrete evidence and will be punished.
