Pakistan Rangers Sindh and the police, acting jointly on the basis of intelligence information, arrested the suspect Nouman, who was involved in robbery and drug-dealing incidents from Orangi Town area of Karachi.
According to the spokesperson, in March 2023, the accused along with his accomplice robbed a mobile phone and cash during a robbery on MPR Road.
The CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media, in which the accused can be identified as having committed the incident.
During the initial investigation, the accused has admitted to looting 60 mobile phones and more than 1 lakh rupees in more than 40 incidents of robbery and robbery in Orangi Town, site and surroundings.
Raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
The arrested accused has been handed over to the police by Rangers for further legal action.
