A video of a barber cutting hair near the dialysis ward of Mardan Medical Complex has gone viral.
In the video, a barber can be seen cutting the hair of a hospital employee near the ward, while the video was taken by the attendant accompanying the patient.
The caretaker maintains that the barber is cutting hair near the ward, while the patients are getting infected.
According to Mardan Medical Complex Director Tariq Mehmood, after the video went viral, the hospital administration took immediate action and suspended the evening shift of the concerned ward.
Tariq Mehmood says that an explanation has been sought from the concerned ward in-charge on the incident and a committee has also been formed to inquire into the matter.
The director of Mardan Medical Complex further said that there will be no compromise on the health of the patients.
