Peshawar: The case of murder of three persons for cutting down a tree was heard, in which the Peshawar High Court rejected the appeal against the punishment of the accused.
Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim and Justice Sahibzada Asadullah of the High Court heard the Tehre murder case. The court dismissed the appeal filed against the sentence of 2 accused who were sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder of three persons and upheld the sentence of the subordinate court.
According to the police, accused Athar Khan and Sartaj Khan had killed 3 people for cutting trees. A case of murder was registered against the accused in Tangi Charsada police station, on which the subordinate court sentenced both the accused to life imprisonment.
An appeal against the sentence was filed by the accused, which was dismissed by the Peshawar High Court.
