Karachi: It has been revealed that an Indian film was shown to the students during the student festival at the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University located in the Lyari area of Shahr Quaid. His inappropriate clothes and immoral dancing were also seen by the students.
During the student festival in Lyari-based Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, the issue of showing the Indian film “Herapheri” has come to light, and during that, inappropriate scenes and dances included in the film were also broadcast, which were seen by the students sitting in the auditorium. .
It was reported that the student council had sought permission for a 3-day food festival through the business administration department and an Indian film was played on the third day. It is noteworthy that except for one teacher, the university teachers including the relevant department were present there. There were no people who stopped the film, while a teacher who was there, instead of stopping the film, continued to make a video of it with his mobile phone.
On the other hand, the university administration was strongly criticized on this matter and the acting vice chancellor of the university, Dr. Siraj Memon, was given an opinion that all this is happening because of his not coming to the university and the university is being destroyed.
The administration of Lyari University has said in its ongoing statement that this event was organized without any prior permission of the university administration which is not acceptable in any case, the organizers did not follow the prevailing rules for organizing the festival. Nor was the university code of conduct respected, but the festival was immediately stopped when it was discovered.
It has been said in the statement that the organizer has severely violated the rules of the university in this regard, due to which the organizer has been summoned after taking notice of the matter and now disciplinary action is being taken against them.
The administration made it clear that the university cannot allow such a bad example in the campus under any circumstances.
