The rocket attacks followed the death of a Palestinian on hunger strike in Israeli custody.
It should be noted that the prominent leader of Islamic Jihad, Khizr Adnan, has died in an Israeli prison after about 3 months of hunger strike. He was on hunger strike for 87 days.
Khizr Adnan introduced the hunger strike as a protest against Israel’s imprisoning of large numbers of Palestinians without legal action.
