Suspects who stole mobile phones from Karachi and supplied them to Iran and Afghanistan were arrested

More than 26 valuable mobile phones, 3 TT pistols and SIM cards of more than fifty different companies were recovered from the accused.

Karachi: Gadap city police arrested 3 operatives of inter-provincial dacoit gang and recovered more than 26 stolen mobile phones, weapons and other goods.

According to the details, the Gadap City Police arrested 3 suspects while conducting an operation near Super Highway Malir Cantt Mor.

According to spokesperson SSP Malir, among the arrested suspects are Abdul Manan, Jamaluddin Nasir and Muhammad Farhan, more than 26 valuable mobile phones, 3 TT pistols and SIM cards of more than fifty different companies have been recovered from them.

The arrested suspects are the main operatives of the inter-provincial racketeer gang, who snatched mobile phones from citizens at gunpoint, changed EMIE numbers with the help of their colleagues and used to supply Quetta, Quetta to Iran and Iran to Afghanistan through a courier company. ,

During the last one year, the arrested suspects have revealed that they snatched more than 500 valuable mobile phones from citizens at gunpoint and supplied them to neighboring countries, while many parts of mobile phones were also recovered from their possession.

Further legal action has been initiated by registering cases against the accused, who are suspected of selling valuable mobile phone parts to vendors.

The arrested accused will also be investigated regarding where and to whom they used to sell their mobile phones and their parts in Karachi, all their facilitators will also be brought under the law.
