Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani, the former representative of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, was killed in a murderous attack, the attacker has been arrested.
According to the news agency from Tehran, Ayatollah Abbas Ali Soleimani was attacked in Babolsar city.
He was a member of the Election Council of the Supreme Leader of Iran.
The governor of the Iranian province of Mazandaran says that the attacker was a security officer at a bank in Babolsar.
The assailant has been arrested and an investigation has been started. However, the attacker’s motive is still unclear.
