20 Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi jails reached Islamabad after deportation

Islamabad: 20 Pakistani citizens imprisoned in Saudi Arabia jails on various charges including illegal stay were deported and brought to Islamabad.

Upon arrival at Islamabad Airport, during the screening, all the persons were found to have complaints of temperature and body pain, all persons were transferred to a private hospital in Islamabad for further evaluation due to fear of monkey pox.

Officials said that more tests should be done at the hospital and if they do not show symptoms of monkeypox virus, they will be discharged from the hospital.

Immigration officials further said that the deportees were imprisoned in Saudi jails due to illegal stay and other illegal activities.
