The Coordinating Committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan described the government’s attitude towards the census as frivolous.
An important meeting was held at the temporary center of MQM, Bahadurabad under the chairmanship of convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
According to the spokesperson of MQM, the political and economic situation of the country was discussed in detail in the meeting. During this, detailed discussions were also held on various organizational matters.
In the meeting of the coordination committee, serious concerns were expressed over the census data so far.

It was said in the meeting that despite the meetings with the relevant authorities including the federal ministers and providing evidence on the irregularities, the correct figures are not being presented.
According to the MQM spokesperson, important decisions have been made regarding the future course of action regarding the abuses of the citizens of Sindh, especially Karachi.
It was decided in the coordination committee meeting that the public will be informed through the media after further consultation regarding the future plan of action.
Senior Deputy Convenors Mustafa Kamal, Farooq Sattar, Nasreen Jalil, Anees Qaimkhani, Abdul Waseem, Kahf Alwari and other members participated in the meeting.
