The religious leader of the Christian community, Pope Francis, has expressed concern over the situation in Sudan.
Pope Francis has called for negotiations with the warring military factions.
In the prayer ceremony in St. Peter’s Square, the Pope said that unfortunately the situation in Sudan is still serious.
He said that warring military factions should stop violence and talk.
It should be noted that despite the ceasefire in Sudan on Eid, the shooting incidents continued in the capital Khartoum.
