Karachi: Like the rest of the country, the Bohri community is celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today.
Eid-ul-Fitr prayers were offered this morning at the Bohri congregational hall in the Sadar area, after which prayers were offered for the integrity and peace and security of the country and the nation.
The roads leading to the Buhari congregation in Saddar were blocked by barricades during the Eid prayers of the Buhari community. Strict security arrangements were made on the occasion, under which police and Rangers personnel were stationed around the Jamaat Khana.

It should be noted that Eid is being celebrated today in Saudi Arabia, Canada, Afghanistan, Turkey, Egypt, Emirates and Gulf countries. While in Pakistan, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on Saturday, April 22, due to the absence of the Shawwal moon last day.
