Mumbai: Bollywood actress and casting director Aarti Mittal has been arrested for prostitution.
According to Indian media reports, Unit 11 of Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch arrested Arti Mittal. Aarti is accused of running a prostitution racket within the film industry.
Reports revealed that Aarti used to supply models by luring clients with money. Two models fell into the trap when Aarti invited them to a hotel in Gurgaon on the promise of Rs 15,000.
On receiving a tip-off about the incident, two members of the crime branch unit arrived at the hotel in the guise of customers, from where the models and Arti Mittal were detained.
