Karachi: The end of political tension and negotiations between political parties have entered an important stage. The possibility of early negotiations between the People’s Party and the Tehreek-e-Insaf has also become bright.

According to Express News, the negotiation team of Pakistan People’s Party met the leaders of Muslim League (N). Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Qamar Zaman Kaira and Syed Naveed Qamar were included in the team while Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafique represented Muslim League (N) through video link.

In the meeting, steps were taken to initiate the process of negotiations to resolve the political turmoil at the national level. Earlier, the delegation of People’s Party had also met the leadership of Awami National Party. The PP delegation was hosted by ANP central leaders Mian Iftikhar Hussain, Zahid Khan and provincial leaders Manzoor Ahmad Khan and Engineer Allah Khan Dr. Khadim Hussain and Abdul Rahim Advocate.

The leaders of both the parties emphasized on consultations to determine the political course on the ongoing political tension and economic instability in the country and agreed that the clash and deadlock between the institutions would be more political, economic, constitutional and political for the country and the nation.
