Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah warned the officers of State Bank.
Speaking in Geo News program Naya Pakistan, Rana Sanaullah said that the officers of State Bank who will pay the money to the Election Commission, may face recovery.
The Interior Minister said that if this does not happen, the officers should continue to pay 21 billion rupees for the rest of their lives.
It should be noted that tomorrow is the last date to release 21 billion rupees in connection with the election in Punjab on the order of the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court had ordered the release of money for elections in Punjab.
In the order, it was said that the Ministry of Finance has said that 21 billion rupees will be given to the Election Commission by April 17.
The Supreme Court had ordered the State Bank and the Finance Ministry to submit a report on the implementation of the order to provide funds by April 18.
