The boys who were invited to make tik tok in the festival of Kashmore district of Sindh were abducted and recovered by the police after an operation.
According to SSP Larkana Imran Khan, two youths, Farman Mirani and Saeed Bhatti, were invited to a fair in Kashmore by the dacoits by contacting them through Facebook.
The robbers invited the youths to make tik tok there, on which they both rode a wagon and reached Kandhkot from Larkana.
The robbers abducted the youth and kept them in a slum area and torturing them, a video went viral on social media demanding a ransom of Rs 25 lakh from their relatives.
DIG Larkana Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh formed joint teams of Larkana and Kundhkot Kashmir police to rescue the two youths.
A case of kidnapping for ransom was also registered at the Ghoshpur police station.
The police teams acted on the information received about the presence of the two youths in Kacha.
After the two-way exchange of fire, the two hostages were recovered safely, while further investigation is going on in this regard, including the arrest of the kidnappers.
