The in-camera session of the National Assembly has started, which Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf is presiding over.
On the occasion of the in-camera session, all except the employees of the National Assembly Secretariat were sent back from the Parliament House.
According to sources, apart from members of the National Assembly, ministers and advisors, Army Chief General Asim Munir and DGISI General Nadeem Anjum are specially participating in the meeting.
Sources say that in the meeting, the military officials will give a briefing on the internal and external challenges facing the country’s security.
In this regard, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had said that the National Assembly will be briefed in camera today, if the members want, they will be able to ask questions.
He said that absolutely nothing will be done to make the situation worse but efforts will be made to improve the situation.
