Bollywood actress Juhi Chawla gave an explanation for her denial of Salman Khan’s relationship.
Recently, a video clip from the 90s went viral on social media, in which Salman Khan says that he wanted to marry Juhi Chawla. However, when he spoke to the actress’ father, he refused.
“Perhaps I was not up to their standards,” he said.
Now, in response to this viral video clip, actress Juhi Chawla’s stance has also come out.
According to an Indian media report, actress Juhi Chawla was asked about this video clip in a recent interview and she started laughing.
A laughing Juhi Chawla explained Salman Khan’s taunting in this way, saying that the actress had refused to do a film with him, which is why he still teases her like this.
He said, “When I started my career in the industry, Salman Khan had not become Salman Khan at that time. By chance I was offered a film in which he was playing the lead role. I could not do the film for some reason, which they are still taunting me about. He never misses an opportunity to remind me that I refused to film with him.
It should be noted that Juhi Chawla and Salman Khan have worked together in only one film ‘Deewana Mastana’. The comedy film also featured Anil Kapoor and Govinda.
It may be noted that Juhi Chawla married a businessman named Jay Mehta in 1995, with whom she has a daughter Jhanvi Mehta and a son Arjun Mehta.
