According to the local media, the shooting happened near the house of a former head of the village, but the local police refused to give more details about the incident, saying that four people were killed due to the shooting.

It should be noted that the tragic shooting incident took place in October last year when a former police sergeant killed 36 people, including 24 children, in the northeastern province of Nong Bua Lam Phu.

It should be noted that the trend of firearm ownership among ordinary citizens of Thailand is quite high compared to other countries in the region.

Officially, such weapons are required to be licensed, but ordinary citizens in this Southeast Asian country also have a large number of illegal weapons.
