Lahore: Anti-corruption agency closes inquiry into alleged corruption in Rescue 1122
According to sources, the investigation of the alleged corruption in Rescue 1122 by the Anti-Corruption Department has been closed due to the lack of evidence.
According to anti-corruption sources, investigations were being conducted against DG Rescue 1122 Dr. Rizwan Naseer and other officers, during which Anti-Corruption had summoned DG Rescue 1122 and other officers several times.
It may be noted that Rescue 1122 had an ongoing investigation into scams in awarding favored contractors for printing and procurement of medicines through bogus companies, which has now been closed due to lack of evidence.
