Islamabad: Federal Minister of Information Maryam Aurangzeb has said that the nomination papers of the candidates have not been withdrawn regarding the Punjab elections, and there will be fierce competition in the elections.
In one of his statements, the Federal Information Minister said that the reports of withdrawal of nomination papers submitted for the Punjab Assembly elections by the parties involved in the government coalition are lies and propaganda.
According to Maryam Aurangzeb, the party leadership did not take any such decision. These reports are fabricated and mere speculations. All the parties in the government are in favor of elections across the country on the same day. The media is requested to confirm with the spokesperson before broadcasting such news.
He said that foreign agents, sedition, riots, unconstitutional, watch thieves will be fought against.
