Islamabad: During various anti-narcotics operations of the Anti-Narcotics Force in several cities, huge quantities of drugs were recovered.
According to the spokesman, 2 accused residents of Faisalabad were arrested after recovering 21 kg 600 grams of hashish and 7 kg 200 grams of opium from a trailer near Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza. 4 kg 800 grams of hashish and 3 kg 600 grams of opium were recovered from 2 women.
3 kg hashish and 350 grams of ice were recovered from a parcel sent to Lahore and Mansehra in a private courier office located near Ring Road Peshawar, which was hidden in shoe boxes. Meanwhile, 9 kg 600 grams of hashish and 3 kg of ice have been recovered from a car near Sona Chowk Karachi Road in Quetta and 2 suspects have been arrested.
While conducting an operation near Quetta Airport Road, 5 kg hashish was recovered from the accused resident of Quetta. Cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act have been registered against all the arrested accused and investigation has been started.
