Karachi: Pakistan’s leading e-commerce startup, Qastabazaar, has crossed the Rs 100 crore sales milestone in just 17 months after its inception in November 2021. Qastbazaar is a fast growing Buy Now Pay Later platform and is licensed by NBFC (Non-Banking Finance Company).
This platform provides more than 400 products in convenient monthly installments to improve the quality of life of all citizens of the country. During this short period, more than 15,000 customers have benefited from the installment plan, which has sold a total of Rs 100 crore worth of products. Among which mobile phones, laptops, refrigerators, LED TVs, motorcycles and ceiling fans are the most selling items.
Interestingly, Qista Bazar has 57% customers whose monthly income is less than Rs 45,000 while 70% of its customers are below 35 years of age. The proportion of small businesses benefiting from installment bazaar such as ‘Khancha frosh’ and other consumers is more than 40%.
