Peshawar: Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to file a petition in the Supreme Court for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly elections.
The spokesman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that an application will be filed in the Supreme Court on Wednesday, April 5 regarding the holding of elections in the province, in which the date of the election will not be set in ninety days despite the court orders from Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali. A decision will also be taken to raise the issue of giving.
According to PTI, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered to hold the election in Punjab within ninety days as per the constitution, while issuing a decision to look at the issue of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa separately. Separately, a writ petition is being filed in the Supreme Court.
Former provincial minister Taimur Jhagra says that an application will be filed in the Supreme Court for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly election. Like the lawyer of the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also fled from the court, elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should also be held within ninety days as per the constitution.
