Lahore: In the alleged police encounter in Manawan, 2 arrested dacoits were killed by their own accomplices.
According to Police Inspector Imran Yusuf, Qadeer Ahmed and Nasir Hussain were among the dead robbers, the detained accused were taken to Manawan area for identification, where their fugitive accomplices fired indiscriminately on the police party.
According to the police, both the arrested robbers were killed in the firing, the accused were recorded in several cases of robbery.
Police say that a few days ago, the accused had opened fire on resisting robbery and injured ASI Imran.
