Work has been started to outsource the examinations in Sindh

Karachi: On behalf of the Provincial Department of Universities and Boards, work has been started in connection with the partial outsourcing of matriculation and intermediate annual examinations in Sindh.

In this regard, all education boards have been asked not to issue tenders for the outsourcing of examinations, but the Department of Universities and Boards will issue a joint tender on its own behalf, in which four matriculation and inter exams from all education boards will be issued. “Expressions of interest” will be sought for handing over various stages to a private party.

This decision was taken in the meeting of Chairman Boards of Sindh held under the chairmanship of Minister for Universities and Boards Ismail Rahu.

According to a source close to the Secretary Universities and Boards participating in the meeting, all the Chairman Boards were told on this occasion that it is not necessary for you to attend all the four stages of the examinations “paper setting, conducting examinations, assessment and release of results”. Sources present on the occasion further said that some chairmen in Sindh and Karachi talked about outsourcing the conduct of examinations to a district or town, while a chairman in Karachi expressed his intention to partially outsource the assessment. .

Some of the chairmen said that exams should be conducted in remote areas where the copies go out from the centers and the papers are taken at gunpoint, the relevant company should go there and conduct the exams, then the real capacity of this company will come out. .
