A local leader of PTI along with his nephew was killed in an assassination attack in Kala Shah Kaku, a suburb of Lahore.
According to Express News, PTI leader Sher Afzal alias Nika Pahlwan was going to Lahore with his nephew when four armed men fired indiscriminately at his car at Kala Shah Kaku.
As a result of the firing, Sher Afzal and nephew Arsalan died on the spot, whose bodies were shifted to the hospital for post mortem by Rescue 1122.
According to police officials, the accused fled the scene. The police have collected the evidence from the crime scene and started the investigation while the incident has also been sealed.
On the other hand, IG Punjab, taking notice of the incident, sought a report from CCPO Lahore and directed the immediate arrest of the accused.
