A police officer was killed in the firing by unknown persons in the boundary lines area of ​​Karachi East’s Brigade Police Station.

According to police, the incident took place near a dangerous junction in Lines area. Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Mohammad Iqbal posted at the police station was hit by four bullets.

ASI Muhammad Iqbal was immediately shifted to Jinnah Hospital, but doctors confirmed his death on arrival at the hospital.

As soon as the information was received, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) East Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi reached the hospital.

According to reports, police officer Mohammad Iqbal was going to raid a place along with the police party when he was attacked by unknown persons.
