Famous Bollywood filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has revealed that Salman Khan was not the first choice for the 1995 hit film ‘Kiran Arjun’, Ajay Devgan was chosen before him.
According to foreign media reports, director Rakesh Roshan, while attending the Indian Idol Season 13 event, also said that Karan Arjun’s film was initially titled ‘Kainat’, but later it was changed.
A clip of Indian Idol Season 13 is going viral on various social media platforms, in which filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, in response to a question, said that Karan Arjun had Ajay Devgn playing Salman’s role and at that time the film was also called Kainat. It had Shah Rukh and Ajay Devgn. For some reason, Ajay Devgn couldn’t do the film.
He also told in this clip that Kareena Kapoor was first cast in the movie ‘Kahu Nah Pyaar Hai’ but she too could not do the film due to some reason, so Ameesha Patel was included.
Director Rakesh Roshan directed his last film ‘Krrish 3’ in 2013 starring his son Hrithik Roshan in the lead role. The fourth part of this film ‘Krrish 4’ is also in the pre-production stage.
However, Hrithik Roshan confirmed a few months ago that the production of Krrish 4 has been hit by some minor technical issues which will be overcome soon.
