Criticism for lighting fire for pocha pot in Indian hospital

A pocha pot was organized in a hospital in the city of Delhi, India, and a fire was also lit during it.

According to Indian media, hundreds of people reacted to this picture on social media and accused the hospital of violating fire safety rules and endangering the lives of patients.

According to reports, a group of 4 priests hovered around the entrance of the hospital, wheelchairs can also be seen in the picture.

Several users on the photo questioned the permission to perform the ritual in the hospital premises while a few users also speculated that the hospital disabled its smoke alarms to allow the hoon to be held.

Several users on the internet have also accused the hospital of endangering the lives of patients due to the installation of a central AC system.

Internet users have also expressed concern over the potential nuisance caused by smoke inside the hospital.

A user has shared a similar picture of a hoon and claimed that a similar hoon happened in this hospital in 2021 during Corona.
