Lahore: A case of abduction of a citizen was registered against eleven officials including the former SHO.
An FIR against 11 officials, including former SHO Shafiqabad, was registered on the order of the court a year after the incident.
According to the text of the FIR, former SHO Shafiqabad Ali Hasan along with Nifri kidnapped the driver Farhan and kept him in custody and also seized his car while also looting the goods from the car. The impounded vehicle was recovered by the court bailiff with its locks broken.
The kidnapped Farhan has not been recovered yet. The case of Farhan’s abduction was registered on the court order after the statement of citizen Bilal Shahid, while a year has passed since Farhan’s abduction.
The FIR has been registered against Sub-Inspector Ali Hassan, ASI Yasin, ASI Idris, Head Constable Ashiq and 7 unidentified officials.
The FIR further states that the named accused extort money from shopkeepers in the area.
