Attorney General Pakistan Barrister Shahzad Ata Elahi resigned.
According to sources, Shahzad Ata Elahi has resigned from the post of Attorney General of Pakistan due to personal reasons.
Sources also say that Shahzad Ata Elahi was appointed Attorney General of Pakistan on February 2.
Barrister Shahzad Ata Elahi was appointed Attorney General due to Mansoor Usman Awan not taking up the post.
President Dr. Arif Alvi appointed him to this post under Article 100(1) of the Constitution and Rules of Business.
It should be noted that the post of Attorney General of Pakistan is of the rank of Federal Minister.
